Every single mountain is different. That’s what makes a ski day or a ski vacation so much fun. You get to choose exactly what you want, and every day on the slopes is a great time. Steamboat is a unique mountain in Northwestern Colorado. The base and peak are a bit lower in elevation that most ski areas in the state, however it is known for its super light champagne powder. Steamboat is a bit out on its own, but that also makes it a great choice if you want to avoid the crowds you might find at more popular ski vacation resorts along the I70. Steamboat has a great mix of runs, glades, and smaller bowls. Check out the Steamboat trail map!
